To provide data cabling to a brand new office which allowed for a flexible working environment.

Special considerations
With this project, our task was to design and install a cabling infrastructure which future proofed the office for any further expansion, but also which was adaptable enough to allow for multipurpose use. As an example, we installed cable in floor boxes which sit flush with the floor so that when the office is changed to an open space, there were zero trip hazards.
We also needed to allow for a digital meeting room booking system.
This tablet was wall mounted so users can see it as approaching the meeting room, we therefore needed to hide the cables.
Wifi – this building had particularly poor phone signal so we had to ensure complete coverage from the wifi throughout the property as most people would be making calls on the wifi.
Services delivered
Data Cabling – the CAT6 infrastructure was used to support the Wireless Access Points, meeting room booking system, video conferencing and hot desks.
Cabinets – we installed a 24U cabinet to allow for all of the existing infrastructure and further expansion should the client wish to put anymore hardware into the cabinet.
Wi-Fi Installation – our experienced engineers installed 3 high-powered Wireless Access Points throughout the site.
Smart Hands Support – We collaborated onsite with their IT team, to rack and stack i.e. install all of their IT hardware into the comms cabinet and patched it to make sure everything was live ready for their team to move in. We also made sure the cabinet was patched neatly.
