Traditional CCTV records footage for you to review later. Verkada adds AI that searches, sorts and alerts in real time, and combines cameras, access and sensors in one cloud platform, turning hours of review into seconds.

Do we need servers or an NVR?

No. Each camera stores footage onboard and backs it up to the cloud, so there’s no NVR, DVR or recording hardware to buy, house or maintain. Footage stays available even if the internet drops.

Does it integrate with our existing access control and alarms?

Yes. Verkada unifies cameras, access control, intercom, alarms and environmental sensors, and integrates with many third-party systems. We assess your current setup and integrate or replace as needed.

How long does installation take?

Verkada installation involves data cabling, camera installation and dashboard set-up, as well as handover and training.

If a single site already has CAT6 or CAT6a data cabling, the installation can take as little as 2 days. If we need to install or replace cabling, it can take up to 2 weeks to complete the installation. We will be able to confirm a timeline after a site survey.

What bandwidth does it need?
